Is landscape photography just about making pretty pictures, touting popularity on social media, or something more? Something deeper that allows a meaningful and nurturing relationship with the natural world. Even in the 20 years since I got back into photography in a way I never foresaw, I have seen the whole business change massively.
In this week's video I want to dig intoning of the most amazing elements of expressive landscape photography: atmosphere. How the landscape changes its feel, it's mood and ultimately the images we make and how we express ourselves.
