I've only been a local somewhere for a month. But already I've got a bunch of advice on how to plan your local photography trips.
Life here in Portugal is good. I'm not going to lie, it's not hard to be a photographer local to locations like this. Within an hour's drive there are countless photo spots here in the Algarve. I feel very blessed. But, it is a new situation for me. I was a nomadic travel photographer for over 10 years. So, as my first time as a local photographer I'm learning a lot of new things. As such, I have advice for people who love photographing their local areas.
